This Privacy Policy applies to the SoulHint mobile application.

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

• Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.

• Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by or is under common control with a party, where "control" means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interest or other securities entitled to vote for election of directors or other managing authority.

• Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Dreamshaper Technologies LLC, the provider of the SoulHint mobile application.

• ​Cookies are small files that are placed on Your computer, mobile device or any other device by a website or app, containing the details of Your activity and preferences related to the Service.

• Country refers to: United States

• Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.

• Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.

• Service refers to the SoulHint mobile application (iOS App, Android App) powered by the Company.

• ​Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company. It refers to third-party companies or individuals employed by the Company to facilitate the Service, to provide the Service on behalf of the Company, to perform services related to the Service or to assist the Company in analyzing how the Service is used.

• Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, app interaction patterns, session length, or device identifiers).

• You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

We collect and process your Personal Data based on the following legal bases:

• Consent: When you explicitly consent to the collection and processing of your personal data.

• Contract Necessity: The processing of personal data is necessary to perform our agreement with you (e.g., providing and improving our service).

• Legitimate Interest: We process personal data based on legitimate interests, such as improving the user experience and marketing our services, provided that such interests do not override your rights and freedoms.

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

• Email address

• First name and last name

• Usage Data

• Birth Data (Birth City, Birth Date, Birth Time, etc.)

 

Some of this Personal Data, including names and birth details, may relate to individuals other than Yourself - such as romantic partners or others - whose information You provide in order to generate compatibility or soulmate insights. By submitting this information, You confirm that You have obtained any necessary permission to share it with Us.

We treat all such Personal Data with the same confidentiality and security protections, regardless of whether it pertains directly to You or to a third party.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. This may include information such as Your Device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, device type, device model, operating system version, the features or screens You interact with, time and date of access, the duration of use, crash logs, and other diagnostic or performance-related data.

When using the Service through a mobile device, We may also collect information such as Your mobile device’s unique identifier, mobile network information, and general interaction patterns that help Us improve the Service.

This data is used to monitor system performance, detect issues, and enhance the user experience.

Purchase Data

We may collect data regarding the purchases made by users through the Apple in-app purchase flow, including subscription details and entitlements. This data is used to manage access to premium features based on the user's subscription status. We do not collect personal purchase tendencies, and all purchase-related data is securely stored and processed in accordance with Apple's guidelines.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

Our mobile app does not use traditional browser cookies. However, it may use mobile equivalents or device-level storage (such as local storage or secure storage mechanisms) to remember preferences or retain authentication tokens.

Our app does not collect any personal data for the purpose of serving targeted advertisements. We do not use third-party advertising networks to track or serve personalized ads. We only collect data for the sole purpose of improving the app’s functionality and user experience. The tracking technologies we use are not for advertising purposes.
 

Your personal data may be transferred to and stored on servers located in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and storage of your data to these locations. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that your personal data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We will only transfer data to countries or organizations that provide adequate protections for your data, in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service and deliver personalized reports, insights, and content.

• To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.

• For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for any in-app purchases or subscription services You have purchased or of any other contract with Us through the Service.

• To contact You: To contact You by email, in-app messages, or mobile push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the features, content, or technical aspects of the Service, including security updates, where necessary or reasonable for their implementation.

• To provide You with news, special offers and general information about other goods, services and events which we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about unless You have opted not to receive such information.

• To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your requests to Us.

• For business transfers: We may use Your information to evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Data held by Us about our Service users is among the assets transferred.

• For other purposes: We may use Your information for other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Service, products, services, marketing and your experience.

 

Personal Data collected via the SoulHint mobile application is used to provide, maintain, and improve the functionality and experience of the app. We do not collect or store any payment information. All payment transactions, including subscriptions, are handled securely through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. The payment will be charged to your Apple account upon confirmation of purchase. For more details, please refer to Apple's privacy policy regarding in-app purchases. We do not retain or share any financial information, and Apple’s in-app payment system ensures the security of your transactions.

Please note that names and birth-related information (including those of individuals other than You, if entered by You) are only used to generate personalized reports and are not used for advertising, tracking, or shared with third parties. All data is processed securely and with strict confidentiality.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

The Company will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from Your jurisdiction.

Delete Your Personal Data

You have the right to delete or request that We assist in deleting the Personal Data that We have collected about You.

Our Service may provide You with the ability to delete certain information about You directly within the app.

You may update, amend, or delete Your information at any time by signing in to Your Account, if you have one, and visiting the account settings section that allows you to manage Your personal information. You may also contact Us at help@soulhint.app to request access to, correct, or delete any personal information that You have provided to Us.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Business Transactions

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.

Additionally, our services are intended for individuals age 13 and above, due to the nature of the birth data.
